Ekklesia Connect
Our monthly Connect class is happening on Sunday, January 5. Connect is a great first step for those who’d like to learn more about us and make Ekklesia their church home. Connect provides a chance to meet someone from our pastoral team and ask questions. We invite you to join us in the Library immediately following the 8:15A, 10A and 11:45A gathering.

Worship and Prayer Night
Join us for our first event at the new Ekklesia building! Come for a night of worship and prayer over the space God has blessed us with as we hear the vision for our new building.
School of Bible
We believe that if you want to become a leader in the church, the church should be a place to equip you. Ekklesia School of Bible is a 6-month program that builds off the foundation that was set in our Discipleship ministry. It takes a deeper dive into Bible literacy, Christian doctrine, and spiritual rhythms.
Class is held weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30P at Monroe. The Winter 2025 session is from January 15-June 11.
The tuition fee is $100 per student. Scholarships are available upon request.

Kids Connect
Our Kids Connect class is on Sunday, Jan 19. This class gives an opportunity to ask questions, meet our family pastor, and learn more about our Kids classes and events and how to get involved. Kids Connect meets after each gathering in the Library.
Financial Peace University
We all want to know that we are doing things right. When it comes to money, there are lots of opinions on just what the “right way” is. Financial Peace University is a three month program to help you learn how to manage your finances through a biblical perspective.

Family Christmas Caroling
Ekklesia Families, we would love for you to join us for Christmas Caroling on Dec 15, from 6-7:15P!
We will be meeting at the Ekklesia Office from 6-6:30P to practice Christmas carols before driving to a Care Facility to sing together!

Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus. If you’ve never been baptized and are looking to take this step as a follower of Jesus, then join us on Sunday, Dec 8. We will celebrate baptisms at 8:15A + 10A + 11:45A gatherings outside Cal Young MS. For those who plan to be baptized, please fill out the baptism interest form online.

Box of Love 2024
Box of Love is one of our largest outreaches of the year and serves to bless families in our local community by providing a Thanksgiving meal. Each box will be filled with all the ingredients needed to prepare a nourishing Thanksgiving dinner for an entire family.

Parents Night Out
We’re having a Parents’ Night Out on Nov 15! Parents, enjoy a night out for a dinner, a movie or fun while we watch the kids! Dinner will not be provided but we will have snacks and drinks.
This event is open to kids from infants through 5th grade.

Young Adults Fall Retreat
Young Adults + College students — Join us for Fall Retreat! We’ll spend a weekend in Sunriver to rest, build community, and spend time with Jesus. Cost is $100.00 per person which covers lodging and meals. Sleeping bags/air mattresses are encouraged.

Costume Carnival
Join us for a family friendly Fall Event at our soon-to-be church building!
We will have carnival games in the parking lot for kids to play and win candy! It will be a time of fellowship, fun, family, and friends. Come dressed in your best costume and enjoy a wonderful evening together. Park in the Norkenzie Christian church parking lot and walk over to play games and enjoy the night.
We are in need of candy donations, please bring wrapped/sealed bags of candy to the Ekklesia Church office or drop them in the candy bins on Sunday, in the lobby at Cal Young.
We also need volunteers for a variety of roles, including creating a themed booth! Dress up in a fun/positive costume, create a theme for your carnival game, be ready to have fun, and help provide a safe positive environment for Ekklesia friends, family, and people in our community.
RSVP required for those interested in helping, serving, volunteering.

Family Tailgater
Join us for a Family Tailgater for the Oregon vs Michigan State game! We'll watch the game, eat food, play games, and have fun! Pizza and drinks are provided. Bring a snack to share!
This is an Ekklesia Family Friendly Event, childcare is not provided, but bring the kids and enjoy the game with us! The best "Ducked-Out" family will win a prize!
Parking is across the street at Norkenzie Christian Church.

Public School Connect
Join us on Sunday, September 15, from 6-8P at Camp Harlow for Public School Connect! Public School Connect is an environment for public school parents to ask knowledgeable Christian public school educators about the current public school system, how to best address difficult issues, and how to disciple your kids in secular environments. Through networking, discussion, Q&A, and breakout sessions we desire to encourage and equip you as public school parents.
Childcare is not provided during the meeting.

Church-Wide BBQ
Join us in the evening on Sunday, August 25, to celebrate the end of summer with a church-wide BBQ! We're gathering at 5:30P at Lively Park in Springfield. We’ll be grilling and will have frozen yogurt. Everyone is encouraged to bring a favorite side to share.

Join us on Saturday, Aug 24, from 9A-12P to spend the morning helping the Cal Young + Monroe Middle School staff prepare their school grounds for the upcoming year. We will be doing hands-on yard work, so bring your tools and come with friends and families as we bless these schools!
