Box of Love 2024
Box of Love is one of our largest outreaches of the year and serves to bless families in our local community by providing a Thanksgiving meal. Each box will be filled with all the ingredients needed to prepare a nourishing Thanksgiving dinner for an entire family.

Ekklesia Connect
Our monthly Connect class is happening on Sunday, December 1. Connect is a great first step for those who’d like to learn more about us and make Ekklesia their church home. Baptism Sunday
Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus. If you’ve never been baptized and are looking to take this step as a follower of Jesus, then join us on Sunday, Dec 8. We will celebrate baptisms at 8:15A + 10A + 11:45A gatherings outside Cal Young MS. For those who plan to be baptized, please fill out the baptism interest form online.
Parents Night Out
We’re having a Parents’ Night Out on Nov 15! Parents, enjoy a night out for a dinner, a movie or fun while we watch the kids! Dinner will not be provided but we will have snacks and drinks.
This event is open to kids from infants through 5th grade.

Young Adults Fall Retreat
Young Adults + College students — Join us for Fall Retreat! We’ll spend a weekend in Sunriver to rest, build community, and spend time with Jesus. Cost is $100.00 per person which covers lodging and meals. Sleeping bags/air mattresses are encouraged.

Costume Carnival
Join us for a family friendly Fall Event at our soon-to-be church building!
We will have carnival games in the parking lot for kids to play and win candy! It will be a time of fellowship, fun, family, and friends. Come dressed in your best costume and enjoy a wonderful evening together. Park in the Norkenzie Christian church parking lot and walk over to play games and enjoy the night.
We are in need of candy donations, please bring wrapped/sealed bags of candy to the Ekklesia Church office or drop them in the candy bins on Sunday, in the lobby at Cal Young.
We also need volunteers for a variety of roles, including creating a themed booth! Dress up in a fun/positive costume, create a theme for your carnival game, be ready to have fun, and help provide a safe positive environment for Ekklesia friends, family, and people in our community.
RSVP required for those interested in helping, serving, volunteering.

Family Tailgater
Join us for a Family Tailgater for the Oregon vs Michigan State game! We'll watch the game, eat food, play games, and have fun! Pizza and drinks are provided. Bring a snack to share!
This is an Ekklesia Family Friendly Event, childcare is not provided, but bring the kids and enjoy the game with us! The best "Ducked-Out" family will win a prize!
Parking is across the street at Norkenzie Christian Church.

We all want to know that we are doing things right. When it comes to money, there are lots of opinions on just what the “right way” is. Public School Connect
Join us on Sunday, September 15, from 6-8P at Camp Harlow for Public School Connect! Public School Connect is an environment for public school parents to ask knowledgeable Christian public school educators about the current public school system, how to best address difficult issues, and how to disciple your kids in secular environments. Through networking, discussion, Q&A, and breakout sessions we desire to encourage and equip you as public school parents.
Childcare is not provided during the meeting.

Church-Wide BBQ
Join us in the evening on Sunday, August 25, to celebrate the end of summer with a church-wide BBQ! We're gathering at 5:30P at Lively Park in Springfield. We’ll be grilling and will have frozen yogurt. Everyone is encouraged to bring a favorite side to share.

Join us on Saturday, Aug 24, from 9A-12P to spend the morning helping the Cal Young + Monroe Middle School staff prepare their school grounds for the upcoming year. We will be doing hands-on yard work, so bring your tools and come with friends and families as we bless these schools!

This year’s theme is “What a Mess! VBS.” We will learn how Jesus deals with our messes; our sins, mistakes, and weaknesses.

YOUTH SUMMER KICKOFF
Middle and High School students! Join us as we kick off the summer with a bang! A ton of youth groups from around Eugene and Springfield are gathering together for food, raffle prizes, games and a teaching about Jesus. Invite your friends and sign up today!

Jump Into Summer Family Event
Bring the whole family to celebrate the end of the school year and jump into summer! Pizza, drinks, and 90 minutes of jump time is provided. Bring your own grip socks or purchase them there for $3.50. Parents should plan to stay with their kids. There are 2 wavers per jumper, one for Ekklesia and one for Get Air. You will receive the Get Air waver in the confirmation email once signed up.
Ekklesia Men's Retreat
We are heading to Camp Tadmor for our annual two-night long Men's Retreat! Join us for a weekend as we draw near to God's Word, cultivate community, and spend time in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. This year's speaker is Josh White, recording artist and lead pastor of Door of Hope in Portland, Oregon. We look forward to this amazing time for men to come together and be challenged.
This retreat is open to men age 15 and up.
Registration is $100.00 through May 26 and covers food and lodging. Payment can be made online through PushPay (please indicate “Men’s Retreat” in the memo field) or by check.
Women in the Word Worship Night
Join Ekklesia Women in the Word for an evening of worship through music, scripture, reflection, and witness to God’s work in our lives. Mingle over desserts and refreshments beforehand and huddle round the firepit afterward.
